About the Squadron

The State Flight Squadron conducts strategic air transport with the mission to transport the head of state and the country's highest civilian and military leadership. The flight operations are carried out every day of the year to all corners of the world with high demands on availability and safety.

The squadron is now entering an intensive and exciting development phase. In 2026, we will upgrade from the current air transport system TP102 to the state-of-the-art system TP106 - Global 6500.

At the same time, there is a clear direction for our operations to grow in order to eventually serve as the platform for the Armed Forces' next generation airborne command and reconnaissance capability with S106 - Global Eye.

We are now looking for someone who wants to help build this organization from the ground up – a journey that broadens today's strategic air operations with both an operational and tactical role in air defense.

Main Responsibilities

As a technical bookkeeper, you will belong to the flight systems section and your main tasks will include:

• Documenting and recording aircraft documents
• Maintaining the maintenance systems (FENIX, CMP)
• Reporting and planning components after maintenance has been completed
• Responsible for and distributing incoming publications and manuals
• Control run ARM/Fenix
• Monitoring the warning list in Fenix and functional mailbox

Qualifications

• Approved high school diploma
• Good ability to report and document in writing
• Good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form
• Driver's license B manual transmission
• Swedish citizenship and approved security and background check

The work as a technical bookkeeper requires you to be service-oriented, committed, proactive, structured, and focused on achieving high-quality results. You need to have a strong sense of security.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious

• Current and relevant experience from similar positions
• Knowledge of the Armed Forces' relevant IT systems (PRIO, FENIX, CMP)
• Good knowledge of operational follow-up regarding aircraft material
• Familiarization course on the Global 6000/6500 flight system
• Experience in continued airworthiness

Employment form: Permanent. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period.

The position requires physical and mental ability, undertaking business trips, participating in training, and exercising in the war organization. Health and physical training are a natural part of everyday life, and the position requires certain physical capabilities. Since both positions and tasks are linked to a war organization, you will also be placed in a war role. This means, among other things, that you will receive training on what is expected of you in a heightened state of readiness.
